Tino Licinio singer amp rhythm

06.11 Tino Licinio, singer & rhythm guitarist in The Ravens (1961) & The League Of Gentlemen (1963/4), was named "Valentino" by his parents because he was born on St. Valentin'es Day. So, in England he is still a birthday boy. I called at 21.00 UK time, 06.00 here, to wish him happy returns.

08.07 The Garden Room's breakfast music of choice was once more The Beatles. Room 742's music of choice is Wolfie's early string quartets.

14.26 Four interviews down: CD Journal, Marquee, Player & Arch Angel. Three more days to go. Into bed.

18.47 Three hours sleep and I'm struggling to stay awake so I can speak to my Wife. Small factoid: the toilet of the interviewing suite is the combination toilet - bidet, with instructions in Japanese characters and helpful diagrams.

19.07 Yes! Toyah has called and now I'm both dozy & excited. Shall I sleep? Shall I eat? Shall I dribble feebly & pitifully? Watch this space for a frank confession of what's next in the life of a pathetic gigster.
